Ignorance On The Radio

This years election is the first one that I've actually been interested in. I watched the debates and the news and follow the current events. As I'm watching these things I take note of people's ignorance. I think that it is amazing what people are willing to believe and what they're willing to stand for. I'm wondering why it's so easy for me, a fifteen year old, to see what is wrong with some of the stuff that people say while some grown adults are just accepting what ever they hear.

Every day I listen to the radio on my way to school and I can't believe the stuff that I hear. One radio host was not suggesting but flat out saying that Collin Powell was only supporting Barrack Obama because he's black. I listened to the clip of Collin Powell saying that he supported Obama and he had plenty of valid reasons for being one of his supporters. Now to say that Collin Powell was doing that because of race is suggesting that he's not smart enough to have some legitimate reasons for endorsing Obama.
Some of the radio hosts are okay and they let people express their opinions whether they agree with them or not. They let them finish what ever they have to say and then they go on with the conversation. They always have a calm tone and don't get upset. Other people on the radio get loud and angry and they cut people off just because they don't like what they're saying.

PS: Who can really take Sarah Palin seriously after this stunt, but you have to admit it was hilarious.
