Everyday I come to school I never expect the the crazy stuff that goes on, but I usually have a story to tell about my third period class. I don't know what it is about third period that just makes people want to act out but it's always entertaining.
Any way I was in my third period trying to focus on my warm-up and this guy sitting diagonal from me is going on and on about how he had a orange tongue ring to match his shirt that day but he ended up taking it out. The guy in front of me can't even get past the first question on the warm-up because he thinks 3 times 4 is a trick question. His friend said it was because he's on drugs, I thought it was a joke, but you never know with this school. At least he showed up to class, other people are still in the hall way chatting up their friends. When they do get to class they rarely do the work. Some people are talking on the phone and listening to iPods but most people are carrying on the the most ridiculous conversations. I usually try to block them out when I have work to do but then I realized this would be a good thing to report back on in creative writing.
This one guy in front of me is telling the guy diagonal from me that he should stop crossing his legs like a girl, but the other guy says hell no and then goes on to tell him how he plans to wear a skirt the next day and that he was going the get tracks in his head and that he was also going to get a bra. My overactive imagination could easily create that image but I was afraid to see what that would look like.
Later on in the class some people are still hoplelessly confused about the actual assignment while the girl beside me is trying to think up ways to get people to vote for her to be homecoming queen. By this time I had already finished the work and I was multi-tasking by doing practice problems while also listening to other peoples conversation. I saw one guy talking to this girl beside him but I couldn't hear what he was saying. The next thing I know some other guy walks up to him and tells him that he's doing too much at one time. He said that he should be careful or he'll become a little slut like him and that only he could do that job. I thought that was rude but I couldn't help laughing on the inside.
Meanwhile one of my class mates was writing the notes up on the board, but I think me and this other girl were the only ones taking the notes. The guy in front of me doesn't even have a clue what is on the board. He asked his friend what that trick is doing up at the board and he responded by saying that he didn't know but that she was taking a long ass time doing God knows what and that nobody really cared.
After lunch I was sitting in class wondering what the hell is wrong with some of my classmates, here I am working hard to get my grade but other people are out in the hall way talking on the phone and not even prentending to care but I always get over because they keep me entertained when I complete my work and need something the do.
